Fair Use and Abuse
Scientific American is anticipating a renewed debate on consumer rights in the digital age. Let’s hope fair use defenders can find the cash and the spokesmen to stand toe to toe with the media conglomerates. Consumers may soon find that they can no longer copy media for their home use without paying for it or registering with someone in advance.
